Thanks a lot for creating this site, I'm interested in becoming a plumber starting from the ground up, cutting out as much fluff and unnecessary elements as possible and this site and all of the content you have provided has been invaluable.

I am a lady plumber/gas engineer ans also a mother of .4 children I completed city and guilds in technical plumbing and then went on a did my NVQ level 2 as an apprentice. I am now well on my way with my NVQ 3 gas and believe me i have had the funny looks and shocked faces when they open the door and see me.. but i have also had great feedback and possitive commenets saying how good it is to see a lady doing the job. I have come across some men who just can't except what i do... but thats the way of the world...

I've been hunting around the internet all day looking for research (as I am a writer) and stumbled across this page. I'd like to say, it's very informative and it's helped me a great deal. I've completed an intensive plastering course in the past, as I wanted to perform my own home repairs, as I hate to pay someone else to do things for me. I loved it, if you need a quick insight into plumbing they do course (no qualifications are given though). I think the company was BuildTrain or something. Anyway, nice website, and thanks a lot.
First of all congratulation to you for choosing plumbing field.my sincere advice better to join any institute for learning plumbing course they will give proper
training to you. Once training has been finished the apprentice can test to become a plumber. then you will get good offers from companies and house owners for plumbing work.
